Unfortunately Crimson Sea 2 has been delayed a few days it appears at least in Canada. They are probably trying to jam a English/French rulebook into it at the borders as I speak.

Well I just got Crimson Sea 2 finally and frankly I am impressed with the game so far, in many ways it reminds me of the fun I had playing a fast action game. Take a little Rpg, a little Sci-Fi, and a lot of DW and you have one of the finest looking action shooters I have seen in a long time. Graphics. I still cant believe this game is running on a PS2! It looks amazing detail is incredible and levels are quite interactive. This actually looks better than the Xbox version a year ago, and even when the screen is full of enimes and guns blazeing at full speed the game never lags behind or does the 'fog' trick we all see in DW games. Story The Xbox version had mission based levels that you built up money on to upgrade your weapon and you and your team moved slowly to the storylines conclusion. In crimson Sea 2 though, you can chose to retun to previous stages partly to earn more 'Origins' to build up many different stats in your weapons or NeoPsionics attacks but also to do certain side quests for extra stuff. So your progression through the story is not restricted. You now control the main character in the game Sho and build his weapons and NeoPsionics powers up very much like a Rpg. You later get Feanay a mysterious young girl with the same powers as Sho and missions can be taken with either character. Controls. The controls use a very similar style to the Dynasty Warriors games, in fact DW games should have as tight control as Crimson Sea does. One set-up actually centres the camera behind you whenever you fire your weapon saveing on those very embarrasing running towards the camera angles. Weapon changes are fast too making pitched battles switching guns a very natural action. Fun Factor. If you like a superb looking game with fast action and no slowdown whatsoever then Crimson Sea 2 will not disapoint. Upgradable Weapons, Multiplayer Modes, Fast action, there isnt much this game doesnt have. I havent kept going back to play a game like this in quite awhile and I am glad to say that this game is very addictive with its many features. Besides this will make the wait for Samurai Warriors even shorter

Great. While the US people get a chance to play Crimson Sea 2, us Brits and any Europeans in this forum are left with nothing, but getting releases of Disgaea, ROTK VIII and Samurai Warriors. Now, I'm going to cry.

Hey I just got this game. I love it. Not as good as other KOEI games though.
It's a shame the 2-p mode is so limited because that is the main thing I look for in games at the moment.

I got cs2 a few days ago and think its a brilliant game.
Having got the first game and considering it an average game i was wondering whether or not to get this and im glad i did! There are many improvements over the first game and a much more rpg feel is good. The contols are fluid and responsive and you feel much more in control this time around. hopefully koei will continue this series!
