Is there any new news about the Koei forums and the login problems? Unfortunately there is no new news yet, I have been unable to contact our elusive admin at koei, but hopefully with Samurai Warriors coming out this week, he will be around the site more.

Quite interesting that 3/5th of all members there never posted anything! They should delete all 0 posters!

Well, in a sense, that would be unfair, since they might visit sometime...

Well, in a sense, that would be unfair, since they might visit sometime... Yes right! But there are lots of dead accounts due the board issues! And many people registered themselves several times but if the forum is working again they will need only one account. Therefore IMHO it will be better to delete all 0 poster accounts and to place an announcement in the announcement section in the forum about this.

I helped the koei admin do something like that back in late Jan this year, we cleaned out something like 12 pages of zero post memberships back then. (found a couple of banned members that tried to make new memberships for themselfs there too ;D ) I suggested to Ben last time we spoke that such a task should be attempted again very soon, of course since then I have not communicated with him. (Edit) I have contacted koei's host BigSmallWeb directly now via a email. Hopefully they will answer some questions I asked of them, this really needs to be sorted out now.

So does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? Like a DB going down, hackers, bugs.

I just got this P.M. from Ben at Koei... It seems like a form PM that was sent to every member at koei, and I now notice that new members are signing up and posting again, so I think koei's problems are fixed now.
Anyone who wants to try again to get into Koei forums should try again, this time it shuld work and thank you all for your patience. ;D
