Well many of us have played this classic game, and some of us are discovering it for the first time. So I opened this thread as a general info and discussion on the game that really started this whole craze we are all addicted to. Feel free to ask strategys for levels or tips here too.(Chibichan  ) |

One: How do you get the Fire attack at Yi Ling to work? I just kinda went in, killed Zhang Fei, hauled butt to kill Guan Yu before he killed Meng-sama, and... completely demolished the Shu forces.
Two: What's with the va's? English Goku from DBZ voicing Lu Xun is bad, but Lu meng sounds like a complete MORON... I thought he was qually balanced in the strength and the intellegence department!
I want to complain about the voices, as little as they were used!

Well if you arent playing as Lu Xun the Fire attack should happen automatically at a certain point, just keep Lu Xun clear of danger. ;D What voices the game is nearly silent except for some grunts and groans. Seriously though I thought some of the voices were quite apt like Lu Bu's "You insects DIE!!" Xu Zhu just sounds scary though. My ears grate at SSX's "Sun Shang Xiang will fight you!!" though.  |

Wait... so playing as Lu Xun means the fire attack won't work? That's poo! *shrug* Oh well... if I can get past Lu Meng's horrible voice during the character selection, I'll play him next.

how sad it is that my ps2 wont play this game . Dont tell me, you have a new PS2 and it wont read the disc properly right? Well done Sony another customer alienated for not staying up to date. |

oh but yyy.i cant play any purple disks.the levels in dw2 were more better than dw4.like yellow turban and hu lao gate.i got to play this game only for a month and my ps2 goes crazy now.

To get The Fire attack to Work as Lu Xun is the same as when you play as anyone, (even shu). After a short time it will say Zhu Ran's unit has appered (or something) and at the far bottem of the map a force will appear (a very small force) who will be attacked by Yan Yan, defeat Yan Yan and follow the unit,it will take a small path behind Zhang Fei's unit, and near the Stone Maze, once they reach the point, the fire attack should begin. |

Oh, so I'm NOT suppose to kill Zhang Fei? Yeeeeep, that's what did it then. Evil Zhang Fei, jumping in the way of my horse and making me mad.

Yeah Zhang Fei seems to be a problem, i just ran right to the south Gate Captain and started to clear out peons there, my Sub General took care of holding Zhang Fei down untell the Fire attack was ready.
