Well I dont usually celebrate landmark posts at sites (I do tell others off for spamming 100 posts yahoo!! Type postings) But this is my own site and I thought I'd do a little something for myself here.
Since I came online back in early August last year I have used the same username pretty much everywhere (exceptions being here and another site) but my avatar choices, my identity if you will, has changed many times and I have built up quite a collection of avatars now, so
I thought I would chronicle my various avatar choices and my thoughts on why I chose them, some reasons are in fact quite amusing. ;D
Once again this is really my own personal way of celebrating 1000 posts at my own site, the topic idea has been in my mind for awhile, I am not looking for any praise or approval here, I simply wanted to do this for myself, and if others are interested in what I do here then they are welcome to enjoy it with me.

My first forum, I had seen it from a friends computer and enjoyed the amount of history and information on the Three Kingdoms period, when I finally got my own computor up and running a few days in and this site was my first 'favorite link.'
If anyone here is even remotely interested in the 3K period or just talking about the games or even life in general, I cant recomend this site enough.
It took me a few weeks to even figure out how to find an avatar and move the link to the Scholars site,(I was quite backwards in my early days online ask anyone who waited five minutes for me to respond to them in a conversation while I typed slowly) I was a big fan of Final Fantasy VII so I looked and found a suitable avatar of my all-time favourite villain Sephiroth.
For awhile infact at SOSZ I even toyed with the idea of changing my username to 'Sephiroth' it was already taken by an ex-member and I would have to wait for old files to be cleared, I'm glad I waited now as I have no desire to change it anymore.
When news started to arrive about Samurai Warriors during the christmas period I upgraded to Kunoichi, I liked the simple image and this is still my current avatar at SosZ.

My 'other' home from home, whenever I got tired of the indepth debating or discussion at SosZ, I would unwind at Koei as a simple fan of the games, and for about 750 posts before I became a mod there I looked like this.
Kinda dull eh? well I needed to learn how to upload my own avatars properly and the mods at koei were no help at all. ;D once I did get the hang of creating my own the fun started.
1.My first personal avatar, and a favourite of mine, didnt know it was Payne right away when I did it, just liked the image as it turned out with the sword.
2. A simple one of my favourite DW girl Sun Shang Xiang, I tryed to get her Chakram's in as much as possible.
3. Ayane from D.O.A. 2, I cant play fighting games worth a darn but Ayane has some great combos and is a very stylish fighter.
4. My first avatar to puzzle people, Sunseeker from a card game called 'Magic the Gathering' I got into the card game years ago because of the quality artwork.
5. My halloween avatar at Koei, I think maybe one person recognised my Dalek that weekend....
6. Diao Chan, another DW girl I enjoy playing, back in DW2 her combo's were deadly, sadly she aint the same gal now.
7. Faye frome Cowboy Bebop, only I didnt know that right away, I just liked the image, this avatar probably got me more PM's from horny fan boys than any other, people actually thought (or hoped) I was like her, just goes to show, dont judge a book by its cover.(avatar)
8. I decided to combat the female look with Gandalf, around christmas time. I was also very impressed with "Return of the King" too. Problem was now everyone thought I was really old...
9. Following a bunch of very quick bannings at koei, I decided on a tougher look, to scare the kids a bit. Besides Gandalf wasnt getting respected enough...Terminated!! Funny enough Ben at koei actually commented on my avatar, he recognized his Governor even suggested I should be the "Governornator."
10. Another 'Magic' image, I really like Angels, I have a playing deck devoted to them, this one is "Serra Advocate."
11. Another SSX one, I often use female avatars mainly because I like something nice looking beside my posts.
12. Kunoichi gets a lot of use by me, I was using her at several different forums long before Samurai Warriors was even released in North America, just liked the image again and after playing her character in SW I enjoy her even more, funny gal.
13. Lu Ling Qi from Dynasty Tactics 2, I tried for more of a portrait shot this time, I was getting more confidant with basic avatar editing by now and wanted to be creative.

14. I made the mistake of putting my avatar at stake in a hockey bet against SteelDragon, his team won, I got stuck with a cute fluffy thing for a week. enough said...
15. In May 2004 Samurai Warriors came out and I started switching avatars quicker as I found and played characters I enjoyed in the game, Kenshin Uesugi was my first really fun character to use, plus I loved his true musou quote "Flames of Hell, Vanquish the Wicked!!"
16. Followed quickly by Oichi, the girl with the yoyo, lots of fun to play as though.
17. Then it was Keiji, the Lu Bu of Samurai Warriors, I used the quote 'bad hair day' to go along with the avatar.
18. Hanzo the ninja i really enjoyed playing plus he has a icy cold voice when he said to Yukimura at one oint "Prepare for the end!..Samurai!!" that made my avatar quote complete
19. Kunoichi was still my favourite though and I went to this artwork for a different avatar of her, I am quite proud of this one because I edited her finger out of the original image so her face would be complete.
20. I wanted a good 'King Arthur' one after seeing the recent movie, couldnt find any I liked so it was back to Magic for a neat image of a sword and a suitable avatar quote went with it, "Spamslayer" This is currently my main avatar at koei.[/color]
