I notice not alot of people talk about this soon to be relased title, it will be the first of the RE series to be played both Online and Offline with the choice of many playible Characters to chose from who are skilled in many diffrent ways, also some good news about this game is you wont need a weapon to remove that Zombie from your path.

Soon to be released? I'd heard June 2004 but perhaps they are advancing that date now, the game has being running online in Japan for about a year now.
I would be interested in this online game, it sounds like a really cool idea running around with your buddies trying to escape Racoon city, maybe leaving a bud behind to slow down some zombie dogs.(wait thats mean! ;D)

Come on the reporter has to have some kind of skill to make her worth playing besides screaming. Or is she supposed to be challenging for expert players to use?(Like useing only a knife or something?) Maybe she runs real fast!!

from the demo movies i got there is only one part she uses a gun...after she fires it 2 times at a zombie she runs away screaming, then there is this part when they are in the Umbrella Base, she freaks out when the Security guard kills a giant moth...and yup u guessed, she screams and runs away..i dunno if she has anything special..but im probly gonna use one of the RPD cops or that security guard. another things i found out about this that i forgot to mention is..Infection, you can get biten and you get a little counter and once it hits 100%..guess what? your a drooling braindead Zombie, and your goal is to eat your old comrads, so it might be cool online and wondering where that one guy disapered to..."oh look there he is!" *CHOMP*

it seems the game is having Difficultys on its release. A few people had noted around the net that Scenario 4 of Biohazard Outbreak contained a glitch which stopped 100% completition of the game - instead stopping at 96%. A solution to the problem had yet to appear and the whole thing had been marked by fans as a bug. IGN, yesterday, has run this story outlining the 96% problem and it being due to a downloadable scenario change by Capcom. Personally it looks more like a glitch and patch (given the way the extra 4% works). However without the ability to access the online portion or a HDD to download it to, gamers will be stuck with the glitch. IGN states that they are unclear if Capcom will do it with the US release, but it's not at all likely given the context in which the problem appears in the Japanese version. Well I'll be one to say... disapointment. This game has barely any RE characteristics. Ya you run around with zombies and tyrant and all that but it lacks filling. I think this game is horrible, and would like to stick to single player mansion/police station/city roaming. I just thought this game left a LOT to be desired.

Got to Borrow my Friends copy today, and after playing and completeing the First Scenario, i have to say, the controls were a bit sluggist for me at first, as the took out the ever so usefull Quick Turn-around. i also found the first area useless as when u succed in blocking the path of the Zombies, they just break it down as fast as you put it up. The Lack of Inventory space was slightly annoying, as im use to haveing two spaces filled with a gun and ammo, and the rest with healing and key items. speaking of Key items, i had to redo the first Room cuz one of the AI players took the Nail Gun so i was unable to board the door shut (like it did anything anyway) but looking past all that, i enjoyed this game thus far, i liked how in the back ground you can hear people screaming with terror as they try and escape Zombies down in the streets, really nice imo. Melee Combat and Blocking was much better in this game, i think i droped a good dozen zombies with only pipes and sticks, so more ammo for my allies ^_^. i only played a Kyoko (sp?) as i liked her Extra 4 inventory space, it came in handy for storing ammo and herbs. LOL i also loved the "Hide" feature ;D this was just to cool! you had the choice of under a bed or in a locker, Genious! so overall i liked this game, looking past the things that they took out from previous REs. can't wait to try Online mode
