All characters in Samurai Warriors can earn a ultimate weapon. Complete story mode on the hard setting for each character's weapon.


Yukimura.(Siege of Osaka-summer)
Clear mission 6
Charge into the Ieyasu Tokugawa camp!and get 1000 kills.

Keiji.(Kawanakajima Challenge)
Defeat all Uesugi army officers except Kenshin.

Nobunaga.(Battle of Okehazama)
Clear mission
8. Do not let Hanzo Hattori overtake you! without defeating Hanzo. This mission only appears if you fail mission 2.Eliminate the enemies near the Zenshouji Fortress! and player has eliminated Ieyasu; player is in the maps western half and player has defeated 5 or more Imagawa officers.

Mitsuhide.(Battle of Yamasaki A )
Clear mission
3. Defeat enemy at the summit, and occupy Mt. Ten-oh!before mission 4.Defeat Nagahide Niwa's unit! is assigned.

Goemon.(Osaka Intrusion)
Clear mission
3 Search the second floor for the Plover Urn! within 300 seconds.

Kenshin.(Kawanakajima Showdown)
Clear mission
3. Eliminate Hanzo Hattori, and protect the main camp!
5. Eliminate Yukimura Sanada, and protect Kaizu Castle!, then clear mission
7. Charge alone into the Takeda main camp!within 1 minute.

Oichi.(Battle of Anegawa)
Clear missions 1 through 4 without losing any allied officers.
1.Eliminate Ieyasu Tokugawa, and stop the enemy advance!
2.Prevent Keiji Maeda from entering the main camp!
3.Eliminate Noh!
4.Prevent the enemy from entering the main camp!

Okuni.(Dance of Ise)
Without failing mission 1 Advance, but stay close to Goemon!

5. Eliminate all enemies except Mitsuhide Akechi!
7.Eliminate all enemies except Hanzo Hattori!

Kunoichi.(Rescue at Ueda Castle)
Reach the top floor of Ueda Castle within 4 minutes.

Magoichi(Battle of Echizen)
Clear mission 3 perfectly,
Aid the Ikko ebel's withdrawal! ie, retreat while all 5 peasant units are still present. You have to do that mission perfectly to gain the weapon. That means retreat while all five peasant units are still present.

Shingen.(Kawanakajima Showdown)
Clear missions
1.Occupy Zenkouji!
2.Defend Mt. Chausu!
3.Defend Kaizu Castle!
8.Eliminate Keiji Maeda!
Clear mission 9 within 1 minute.
Charge alone into the Uesugi main camp!

Masamune.(Attack on Honnouji)
Clear mission 3
Defeat the Oda Army's elite officers!(Keiji Maeda, Hideyoshi Hashiba, Ranmaru Mori, Noh and Oichi) while officers, Kojyuuro Katakura and Shigezane Date are present.

Noh.(Betrayal at Honnouji)
Clear mission
2 Eliminate Nobunaga Oda quickly! within 5 minutes.

Hanzo.(Battle of Mikatagahara)
Clear missions
2. Endure the Takeda Army's attack!(Crane formation cannot fall!)
8.Seal all Takda strongholds!

Mori Ranmaru.(Betrayal at Honnouji)
Clear missions
1.Prevent the Akechi Army from entering Honnouji!
2. Thwart the Akechi Army's fire attack!

New Officer-Spear.(Seige of Osaka-summer)
Clear mission
1.Lure the enemy advance force to the Sanada-Maru! , and enter the Tokugawa camp before Yukimura.

New Officer-Sword.(Battle of Nagashino)
After Katsuyori Takeda retreats, Nobufusa Baba is defeated, and Keiji Maeda is present.

New Officer-Naginata.(Battle of Okehazama)Before Nobunaga enters the Imagawa Camp, player defeats all Oda officers besides Nobunaga and Noh.

If anyone has any problems with these weapon locations please inform me and I will effect changes. ;D

Ok some people are having problems unlocking Keiji's fifth battle (and of course his fifth weapon, which is there) to get Keiji's fifth scenario you must do certain things during the four previous scenarios that lead up to it.

Scenario #1. (The Battle of Ise)
Prevent the enemy from surrendering.

Scenario #2. (The Battle of Nagashino)
Eliminate Yukimura Sanada.

Scenario #3. (Dance of Kyoto)
Defeat Goemon Ishikawa.

Scenario #4. (Odawara Infiltration)
Eliminate Masamune Date.

These tasks when completed should open up the fifth Scenario for you, but be warned it isnt enough just to kill the officer in question. You must first get the mission to eliminate the officer, then defeat him. Beating them before you get the mission is the same as never having completed the mission, so be careful.

Oh crap the edit character sword....that is a tough one, I tried all week myself till I finally did it on two player, I am sure it can be done solo too.

Heres what has to happen
Battle of Nagashino
1.Your commander Katsuyori Takeda must start to retreat.
2.Nobufusa Baba is then defeated
3.Keiji still alive states what a great way to die Nobufusa Baba chose.

The supply team carrying your sword will appear in the southeast and work their way north, get them quickly before Katsuyori leaves the level, ending the battle.

Defeat the enemies inside Nagashino Castle
So what I did is took out the fort behind the Takeda clan base at the start of the level, now in two player i chose one to go deep into enemy territory where the Takeda generals are battling the Nobunaga musketmen, that player should clear away as many muskets as possible and then basically act as Nobufusa Baba's bodyguard because he will get killed if left too long alone and you will never get the weapon then.

Eliminate the enemy ambush party immediately!
The other player (or yourself if you have cleared Baba of any possible dangers) should take out the ambush party as quickly as possible, they may also have taken both nearby gates over too. This is where things can get hairy as Keiji Maeda advances quickly to the Takeda camp looking for your commanders head he is joined by many other Oda units and a sneaky back road attack by Hanzo Hattori too.

Eliminate Keiji Maeda at once! Actually ignore this order completelyyou need Keili alive to say how brave Baba was when he dies, and that wont happen untill your leader starts to retreat. After about a few minutes the failure to kill Keiji message will appear but dont worry you are still ok for the weapon.
If Baba is alive still the guarding player can leave him and come back to help protect your leader, you may need one player to lure Keiji away from your commander too much effort from you will just get Keiji killed by someone else so block his blows and back away from your leader. The other player can protect your commander untill Yukimura kills Hanzo (or if you are quick kill Hanzo yourself) and suggests retreat is needed to Katsuyori.

As Katsuyori starts to leave, (clear away any enemy near him) hopefully Nobufusa Baba has finally found somebody to fight and has now died in combat, if he is not moving and quite alone from foes have one player run down there and cause Oda's main camp door to open bringing out his troops, Just leave then Baba will fight them and quickly die to them then Keiji if still alive with comment on how he'd like to die that way someday. The supply team should finally appear then, kill Keiji for being a dumass hanging around so long and keep your commander alive while the weapon is found and Katsuyori escapes.

There simple no.....No I know its a pain agreed!

Battle Drum Its in Okuni's Dance of Kawanakjima level, bang the drum in the east camp alot The drum will help keep your troops morale high.

Matzukaze saddle
Picked up by playing Shingen's Siege of Azuchi Castle level. First, defeat Mitsuhide and prevent the fire attack, then go to the east gate and defeat Keiji within one minute of his appearance. A supply team will appear near the eastern north gate, defeat them and pick up the item.

Arabian Saddle
Start stages mounted on Kanketsuba

Obtained In Sanada Yukimura's Summer Campaign at Osaka, follow all the missions up to and including preventing Date Masamune from entering the castle. A supply team will appear from the gate in the west of the center and move towards the gate east of center. There appears to be a time limit for getting this item, possibly around 15 minutes. If you play as Yukimura yourself, the mission to convince your commander may be easier.


Elemental Rune
Kenshin's Showdown at Kawanakajima
Get 1000 KOs. A supply team will appear in the North East.

War Rations
Play on New officer mode, you need to have 130 Jump and then there is a chance you will meet Hanzo in a special event, defeat him for the item. Try doing Burst mode to build your jump up faster, female created officers tend to have higher jump stats too.

Hanzo Weapon Tips[/color]
This is a tough weapon to get I'd advise a good speed scroll and the Marching Drum as it will help keep your allies alive a little longer, i also suggest that you rush all the cavalry Generals that attack, you'll have to be quick as one of them charges right to Tadakatsu who seems to lose quick when he is surrounded.

When you are beating up on Nobushige Oyamada knock him or get him to follow you as close to the other Takeda officers as possible, since this will help you wipe out all the enemy officers faster and give you some extra time to mop up any pockets of resistence.

It'll be the longest two minutes of your life waiting for the Crane formation to succeed
