The show ran for five seasons and delt with humans in a space station in the 24th century trying to get along with several alien races.
The show has a ongoing storyline that is revealed through the five year run.

I can't believe how many people haven't seen Babylon 5. It was a better show than Star Trek DS9, Star Trek Voyager, and Star Trek Enterprise combined. Definitely, try and rent the B5 shows from your local video store. DVDs are available for at least the 1st 3 seasons now. The best website for the show is still www.midwinter.com/lurk/. B5 has been described as "Casablanca in Space". If you didn't watch all of the shows, you may have had trouble understanding the series. Fortunately, I had friends who helped me watch and collect the whole series on VHS tape. Enjoy the show...

I went psycho when Walter Koenig (Chekov from Star Trek: The Original Series) entered the show as Mr. Bester... so, even though he's an arrogant little psycop bent on hating mundanes and wants to unite the children under the Psycore (is is it Psycorp?), I loved him. I enjoyed the little spats between Bester and Garibaldi...
Oh, yeah, I've also met the dude that played that doctor, what is his name, Stephens or something like that? I went to an Akon and I spotted him there and talked a little... unfortunately, no autograph. I feel like an idiot now...

I enjoyed the little spats between Bester and Garibaldi... Bester was great a truely evil person who like many Babylon 5 characters was a multi-layered personality as the show progressed. I nearly had a brush with fame, they filmed that 'Rangers' tv movie up near me and one of my friends happened to be a security guard at the studios here. I missed out on seeing J.M.S.(the producer) and G'Kar (the Narn) because of bad timeing. Oh well.

G'Kar! I remember him!!!! That was some great make-up work on him, and I liked the alter version of him... well, the humorous one anyway. I would have loved to meet him too.... but I'll be happy with the doctor man...

Season four of 'Babylon 5' just came out, and it is possibly the best season of all, for many loose ends were tied up and the 'shadow war' saw a epic climax.
The producers of the show were not sure if they were getting a season five, so many plotlines had to be sucessfully concluded, leaving a rather dis-jointed season five to finish things off.
