The first of the now-known-to-be final episodes of ANGEL, the ingenious SMILE TIME, was equal parts disturbing and hilarious. Written and directed by Ben Edlund, with a story devised by Edlund and series creator Joss Whedon, it's a stand-alone episode that deals with evil puppets. Yes, puppets. These demented Muppet-wannabe's - two that are human-like, one dog-like and one big, purple, honking something-or-other - suck the life out of children through their television sets, leaving them in comas with Joker-like grins. The episode was filled with classic moments that need to be seen to be fully appreciated: Angel's transformation into a puppet and the subsequent "power shot" of PuppetAngel and his team heading off to battle, Spike's reaction to Angel's puppetness and his subsequent pounding, and Angel's Puppet Vamp face were just a few of the highlights. The creepier elements included a cameo from producer David Fury as a human hand puppet (now THAT would hurt), the Don't" room, the deranged grins on the affected children, and the puppets themselves - not so much how they looked, but how they acted. This wasn't SESAME STREET. Instead, this was a great stand-alone episode, and a good choice to show to ANGEL initiates to give them a feel for the show's current state.

A online poll has been set up by fans to attempt to reverse the plans by WB to cancel Angel at the finish of this current season. Make your voice heard if you want to save one of the few shows left on television interesting to watch. www.petitiononline.com/ai5d0162/petition.html

No! The pigtails must have turn Angel into a Muppet! We must stop it
*Then, Kupo (my lil sister) appears from nowhere and slaps me to return to sanity.*
Thanks. Now then, can anyone tell if this actually real? If it is, then I might force Kermit the Frog into his own show:
Kermit the Frog Slayer
Don't ask. Anyway, Angel rocks and he is so hot!
