eh i've always liked snl better. but both seem to be suffering as of late. snl doesn't have good guests anymore. madtv's early stuff was really good, like the clay-mations, especially rudolf as a 'godfather'

Since Mike Meyer, Dana Carvey, Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, Adam Sandler (, et al) left SNL, the show has been terrible.
Mad-TV had some good episodes early on, especially the episodes which had the Swan chinese-lady character.
Perhaps, I'm just too old for this type of TV show. Everything seems to be catering to the humour of teenagers lately, and I'm in my mid thirties.

i couldnt agree more. though i am a teenager i personally think that snl has gone downhill since they lost all of their starts the movies. and most of their skits are ones that have appeared over and over, they have nothing new. mad tv is alright i guess, ive been watching alot more since comedy central has taken it in. its not rolling on the floor laughing comedy though, like the old snl's were.
