Aww thats too bad, I guess I'll save 300 odd bucks this christmas now. Incidently the article fails to mention that koei was one of the first publishing companys to sign on for sony's PSP, the dreams of a handheld Dynasty Warriors just got a little further away...

._.
That's too much money...
*goes to sell her original GB, her GB color, and her GB advanced*
Blah... useless for people like me... I get sick when playing handhelds in the car/train/bus/plane... and I'd rather stick headphones in my ear and listen to my cds than excercise my thumb, anyway. Besides, I got enough battery problems with my CD player alone.
Sorry, though, to the people who were looking forward to it. I wish it good luck for whenver it DOES come out.

This is Sony's answer to Nintendo's monopolistic reign on the handheld market. This thing has the potential to destroy everything in it's path since it is the first handheld to incorporate a disc as the ROM medium. Sony is using its well received ATRAC sound compression system used in its MiniDisc technology for CD quality sound that takes up 1/2 to 1/4 the space of traditional CD audio data. The disc itself can store 1.8 GB of information whether it is music, video, data, games, or whatever. It should be interesting to see what Sony has in store for us. [Rumors are beginning to appear about Square-Enix developing Final Fantasy VII part 2 exclusively for the PSP. This would seriously knock a huge dent in if not sink the Nintendo Gameboy It's going to get very interesting come early 2005 when the PSP hits North America.] Technical Specs Processor _32-bit R4000 x2, 333 MHz, Video _4MB 256-bit 2-Cores166 MHz, Audio _128-bitVME 166 MHz, Memory _16MB, Resolution _480x272, 4.3" lit TFT, Colors _16.8 million, Media _UMD Disc Based.

There are rumors about the price being $500. I'm not suprised if this will be the actual price.

$300 for that little thing? im better off buying a new PS2. What kinda price is that for a handheld? a PS2 is much more worth it in my opinon.
