I was flipping though Ripley's Beleive it or not books and I found an article on General Kuan Ti who I soon remembered to be Guan Yu. He's in there for having "buried in duplicate".

Thats strange. Unless his body is buried somewhere in Wu and his head is buried somewhere in Wei...

By "buried in duplicate" do you mean buried in different places or something?
Maybe they auctioned off parts his body after he died. I can just imagine Sun Quan outbidding Liu Bei. lol.
auctioneer:50 gold, do I here 100 gold? Quan:100 Bei:200 Quan:500! Bei:.....I didn't like Guan THAT much.

What it was bacially saying is that the Wu forces took his head and made a body of gold and buried it & they sent back and the body was buried with a head of gold. Thus being buried "in duplicate".
I'm not even sure that their history is accurate but I was still delighted to see Guan Yu in a ripply's believe it or not book.
