You say Cao Cao done many worse things but i say i can find a similar deed by another or a logical reason why he acted the way he did.
Liu Bei did not believe in morality - i've mentioned already that he lead his army to war based only on his own venegence and hate. Liu Bei was trusting only to a select group, plus he judged a person based on their reputation - not on their actions or intelligence.
Cao Cao was kind (at times) and humane. He noticed that the soldiers needed rest, plus he got his army to work on the fields and help the civilians. He also cared for his generals and rewarded them well.

It is odd how Shu and Wei have done wrong things but you don't hear much about Wu.

Wu were the sneaky stab you in the back types that Guan Yu really should have kept a better watch on. (Those are not my personal views mind you but they are held by most Shuists. ;D )

The land of Jing though was rightfully Wu's - they were simply taking it back. I don't see myself as supported a particular side as i like parts/officers from all forces.

A few weeks ago - nearly 3 months?
Back to the topic, does it not annoy anyone else when they read a general saying how good they are and that they want to lead the vanguard of the army. Then in the first few bouts they die - all bark and no bite!

Wu was just being a b i t c h. They could have asked for it backed but noooo, they had to kill Guan Yu. Wu sucks. Go Shu!!!

I found Sima Yi annoying not because I did not respect him but because I wanted to Zhuge Liang and Shu to prevail and he successfully prevented this. I disliked Cao Cao much more however because I did not like his lacking sense of honor but thats a whole other debate.
