Dong Zhuo, he was by far the worst so far in the book for me, the guy did'nt care what others had to say about his plans, and if they said something against him, he killed them. i cant wait untell Lu Bu cuts his fat neck open

Yes, I am sorry too. I overracted a bit.
Anyways, back to the topic...
Dong Zhuo was characterized well, I think, since I can't find a single person that LIKES him. Luo probably hated the guy's guts, and he succeeded in making Dong Zhuo look like a real villian. For once, I say, bravo Luo!

I also dislike Yuan Shao. I'm not sure if he really was like this way but oh well. He always wanted to do the "right" things but he was corrupt, atleast he was in my eyes.

Hard to say, actually. I think the power did go to his head, but I can't say if he was really corrupt. However, there was one thing that he was that annoyed thhe crap out of me... indecisive and not trusting of his officers. And that annoyed me.

Yuan Shao wasn't corrupt, as in Dong Zhuo corrupt, but what i dislike about him was that he was too selfish - he only considered himself and his family. He never went to war to bring peace, only to bring more fame to his name.

I meant that he was corrupt with power. He used military might for his own gain, not for the good of China. Too bad his military power didn't help at Guan Du, he got spanked by Cao Cao's smaller army.

ugh the biasnes was killing me......... anyway i h8 dong zhuo mainly for what he did to diao chan. ya, ya i know she agreed to it, but that's always the most difficult of the book to read for me. i'm not really a fan of zhuge liang either (and zhuge fans even more so). i once had someone refuse to admit that jiang wei won a battle against zhuge liang. i was glad that he became more human near the end of his life, though, i.e. he lost some battles. i used to hate zhou yu because of how he was portrayed in the novel, how he was short-tempered, but reading about the real zhuo yu and reading through the novel more carefully, made him one of my fav's. so my opinion of him changed.

Am I the only one who actually liked Zhou Yu in the book? I thought he was a great character he reminded me of myself a bit weird a bit jealus and filled with hate I thought Zhuge bloody Liang was the most annoying guy by far. You'd think he was a saint. Every decision he made was genious and that is utter donkey hoof! The way hes made out you'd think he was the greatest military mind whoever lived and no matter how much anyone argues against this Zhou Yu would of wiped the floor with Zhuge I'm certain of it (more or less)

I liked Zhou Yu in the book, But however you think about it Z.Liang was the better strategist in the 3K period.
I don't see much wrong with Zhou Yu's actions. He wasn't treacherous for he was doing it for his country, plus he always let Liu Bei's officers know his feelings. He did not hate Z.Liang - he simply knew how much of a threat he was, and at least he tried to do something about the situation.

We will never really know but I'm sure Zhou Yu would have been more of a challenge to Zhuge than Lu Xun or Sima Yi.

We will never really know but I'm sure Zhou Yu would have been more of a challenge to Zhuge than Lu Xun or Sima Yi. He'd pose more of a threat to Zhuge Liang than Lu Xun would, that's for sure, as Lu Xun wasn't really the type for a challenge and would rather keep Wu safe then go conquering unless it was a must. Sima Yi, however, I think Zhou Yu and Sima Yi would be on equal fields when it came to being a threat to Zhuge Liang. They both strive to be better than Zhuge Liang, so that works with them and against them at the same time, and both are pretty powerful figures.
